Organizational Structure

LSI has an experienced and dedicated international management team as well as a highly dedicated regional management, that is determined to continue the growth story

The central coordination tasks are performed by the holding company in Switzerland while most of the production takes place in Portugal and R&D for plant breeding is exercised by the Lebende Samen entity. The number of group employees in 2022 is 42.

Stefan Doeblin
Founder, responsible for fund raising, R&D, professional seeds, expansion

Stefan founded LSI in 2015 and invested the first funds via its Network Economy AG. He is an entrepreneur. Stefan worked for more than 20 years in the telecom sector, 8 years in the renewable energy sector and now in the organic and biodynamic agriculture sector. He studied Mathematics, University Göttingen and business administration, Technical University Berlin. He is also the President of the none-profit association Lebende Samen Living Seeds e.V. for plant breeding.

Dr. Georg Brann
CEO

20 years at Siemens AG in international management functions. As entrepreneur he joined Network Economy in 2005. Georg runs project and investments in Telecoms, Renewable Energy and for more than 7 years he developed the organic seed business of LSI. He received his PhD in Physics at the University Braunschweig.

(Wageningen University - Netherlands) with specialization in plant breeding and genetic resources. During his studies, he created his own company with
breeding and seed sales projects until he started the Living Seeds company.
